I came here for lunch earlier. They were very friendly and I was seated immediately. The restaurant is clean, and the servers are very attentive. I decided to order the cold noodles because it was hot and humid in NYC. The server cut my noodles with a pair of scissors. This course is so delicious and spicy. The noodles are cold but well-seasoned. I left very satisfied. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant was delicious!! The tofu soup was my friend's order, so her opinion was that it tasted very good. Initially she wasn't sure what to do since the powder was on top but she had fun mixing it in and seeing the consistency change. I had ordered the bibimbap. It was delicious. First time trying a bibimbap but I loved that it came with a little bit of everything so when it was mixed together it would blend flavors. The bulgogi was juicy and the veggies were perfectly sautéd. The fried chicken was good but I wouldn't order again. It wasn't anything that was mouth watering, just regular fried chicken. Was not bad but not something I would consider getting again.

Came back to our "spot" after more than 10 years. The place is the same as it was back then. We were excited to be here. We got our favorites which were still as delicious as before. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the venue has a warm, comfortable ambience that made the dining experience relaxing.

It is one of the first time I entered a place without checking the reviews online. I had a good experience. The menu proposes a large choices of Korean meals and Combo. I chose the bibimbap with tofu and vegetable and kimchi. It was really good and hot as I like it ! The banchan were fine to me. The service was quick, we did not wait long to order and to be served! It's a nice place to stop for a quick lunch with high expectations on the place and ambiance. But the food is good

Good lunch menu and combo menu which is very filling. For NYC, the price is really reasonable. Had the spicy pork and beef soup combo and they were both very delicious especially the soup that had so much flavor. Part of the side dish was tteokbokki which could have been like a whole appetizer in size. Left full and happy!

Hanbat is next to Cho Dang Gol, and probably suffers from but also profits from the popularity of the latter. We found ourselves at Hanbat precisely because the wait for Cho Dang Gol was...2 hours. Hanbat is unassuming, with a 2 min wait. So if you are hungry and right there, it is an option! We ordered a good amount of food to be shared among four. The scallion pancake is solid. We ordered a pork/tofu dish (that I can't remember the name of). I don't eat much pork, so it's not like I have much to say either. The LA Galbi is great but we were left wanting for more. The mixed seafood dish was a solid choice. Ultimately, Hanbat got the job done, on a night when, momentarily, we thought we may not have any dining options at our disposal!
